The Library cum Card Room houses a fine collection of books including some rare volumes on natural history. The beautiful card table with side tables fashioned out of black buck horns is a wonderful way to spend the evening playing bridge, scrabble, chess or mahjong. The room also boasts of a Coin Cabinet which displays the rare and prized collection of Sir Arthur Milford Ker, the last British owner of Chapslee. There is also a fine collection of porcelain and other items including a unique collection of paperweights! On display are also the awards and the Padma Shri citation of Reggie’s mother, Rani Nilina Ripjit Singh, alias Naina Devi, who was one of the doyens of Hindustani classical music in the genre of Thumri, Dadra and Ghazal, which serves as a tribute to her memory.
